A commissioned pet portrait is a beautiful way to honour a pet's life
Ordering a Pet Portrait
Each portrait takes approx. a month to complete. I am currently booked up until May 2024 but am happy to discuss your pet portrait if you wish to book in.
Ordering a pet portrait is very simple. I work with photographs of the animals. The quality of the image is important but the background doesn't matter. You can email the following to sales@susanmillsanimalart.com:
1. A good quality digital image of your pet (see Tips for taking your pet photo below)
2. Canvas size and type of portrait (head and shoulders or full body etc)

3. Information about your pet’s character

Tips for taking your pet photo:

Make sure the environment in which you are taking the photo is not too bright or too dark.

Be at the same level as your pet.

​Above all, I need to see your pet’s eyes clearly so I can capture their true expression.
Terms & Conditions
On completion of the portrait I will email you a photo for your approval. Once you are happy you can pay the balance.
